Brazilian Portuguese or Italian, though I can't trill an R to save my life.

Have you flown/would you fly in a small aircraft, I.e, single-engine prop?

you can roll your Rs by putting your tongue-tip against the fleshy ridge atop your upper front teeth as though you were gonna say the letter T, but instead of saying T, you just blow through that. what this does is cause a narrow air column to develop that squeezes between the hard palate and fleshy muscle-belly of your tongue thus creating the vibrating sound. consider it a science experiment ;)
my section sergeant in the army, took us up in his new Cessna airplane one Saturday back in the 80s, we flew to NC and back [to Washington DC]. it was interesting, the plane handled well even in turbulence.

print, ebooks and other online reading material is an ergonomic challenge to me.

physical CDs in a regular stereo system that you have to sit down to listen to in blocks of time, or MP3s in a portable player you walk around with?

CDs in the car, mp3s in the house. (Nobody else likes my music, so it's the easiest way with headphones.)

Favorite fruit?

i do both most days, for exercise. but practically speaking, if i had to choose, i'd choose my bikee recumbant to ride daily as it will get me further with less effort than walking.

Walk, because I can't ride a bicycle!

Car or motorcycle?

car, as I tangled with some deer when I was on two wheels and it almost killed me, I ended up in the hospital.

step into the WABAC time machine [looks nothing like that special Delorean you saw in the movies] and choose one of two date/destinations on the trip computer- june 1, 1968, or june 1, 2168. please give brief explanation of your choice, if at all possible.

June 1, 2168, because then I could see what the future was going to be like and warn people so that they could change things if necessary.

Same question.

2168, although reliving 1968 is mighty tempting, for similar reasons as above poster.

which historical event would you like to travel back in time to witness? [no actual participation in the historical event is allowed so as not to rent the fabric of space/time ;) ]

The first lunar landing. I want to be right there on the moon to see. My reason is I'm still not sure it was a good idea.

Same question.

Definitely "clean" coal. There's no such thing as safe nuclear.

it would have to be a typical porn star stud's [or babe's] body. just to see what they experience, what it feels like, how much more intense everything is to them, how easy it is to live, how carefree, how socially intelligent/hip.
