If you want to see how bad things are here in Texas, you might like this from NOAA

I remember what rain was like...

It was 106 today, it's been 100+ every day for more then a month with no rain.

Same....but today, there was a dust storm, so that was interesting. Where are you from btw, because I thought there were very few places that got that hot aside from where I live?

Oh, be as technical or not-so-technical as you want, I do not mind :)
Skies are looking rather dark here, but no rain yet.

It's saying 21 but I think it may be malfunctioning; it's cooler than that  We had heavy showers earlier. Luckily the pollen count seem to have dropped.

For anyone interested in weather in the UK there's going to be a programme called The Great British Weather BBC1 7.30pm 13th July :nerdy:

I'm seriously envious of yall's UK weather, here in Texas it is 105F (40C) and hasn't rained in two months,

If I said that sounded unpleasant, it would be an understatement!

The last two days have been a mixture of sharp showers and sun, with a fair breeze.

I have been caught in the rain at least 4 times, as I have been doing allotment/farm related activities. I got trapped in with the chickens today in the pouring rain. I wasn't very impressed, and neither were they. Atishoooo!
