dreading summer too, but this years buildup has been surprisingly cool, so far. jackets aren't collecting dust just yet.

sign of spring: moaning about how quickly the year is going by.

the only surefire ways are disability, disease, incarceration. none of those are worth diddly AFAIC.

I'm watching the first five Turkey Vultures of the year trying to gain altitude in the cold air as they head north.

The Red-winged Blackbirds have probably arrived already in the local swamp.

My uncle has a horse farm not far from me. There is a creek that runs past his property. He has violets springing up on both banks on the creek.

still quite wintery here. the sun has come out for today, but i have confidence that storm clouds will gather once more for yet another drenching next week.

temperatures have only marginally risen.

personally, a sign of spring is EXAMS! midterms!
