Sorry to hear about the series nightmares Auntie. Do you have an idea of what might of caused you to have them? I'm curious why that happens. I've had them in a series before too but it's rare. Once I had them when I abruptly went off some anti-anxiety medication. Those nightmares were all kinds of blood and violence, it was horrible. But I've had them for no apparent reason - well so it seemed anyway.
all i know about it is that they were full of bullies, who both disrespected me with malice aforethought, as well as physically abused me. the bullies were either suit-wearing yuppie types [the badmouthers who denigrated my mentality] or dressed as letterjacket-wearing jocks who shoved me and slapped me and manhandled me in general. basically a replay from my school and army and work days. and i had asked god before retiring that night, for some good dreams.
i still don't get where "the low spark of high-heeled boys" tune fits in

You are very likely an Aspie.

Well - arent you a "high heeled boy" so to speak? A deviant in more ways than one- which is why you were bullied all your life? Kinda so obvious that it isnt obvious. Ofcourse Ive never really listended to the song carefully enough to know what the lyrics are actually about.
I volunteer producing a public access radio show at a small public access station. The guy who has the time slot after me announced he was going on vacation somehere. That night I dreamt that he and his family and I were planning a group vaction trip together but hadnt decided on a destination.
He then had this bee in his bonnet that "if we take this particular 'working' vacation getting dirty and digging we all will become rich and famous." He said he had inside info on where the remains of Noah's Ark is.
I took a quick trip to the secret location to check it out.
It was in a mountainous region of a kinda generic mideast country (kinda of cross between Iraq and syria).
I went the site and saw the outline of a big buried boat in the ground and saw bronze age pottery shards lying about. I figured that it looked promising.
While riding in the peasant cart back to the airposrt I chatted with local peasantry who were all kurds. They said the this region belonged to them and was about to blow up in rebellion against the central governemtn headed by an Assad/Hussien type dictator.
When I got home I told my buddy that "you may be on to something about noahs ark but the place is about to become a war zone". So we reluctantly agreed to a bland conventional trip to the Bahamas instead.
Thats the last entertaining memorable dream ive had.
Last night's dream had to be about the strangest I've had in a long time. I think it was partly influenced by the movie I watched before bed---Shutter Island. Anyway, the dream began with a violent wind storm on my property---blowing down trees and stuff (much like the storm on Shutter Island in the cemetery). Then, in the dream, I was killed in the storm. And I wondered about an afterlife. But as I saw myself being buried, and since I was watching this from a distance and being able to think, I realized there was an afterlife and I was living in it. Then I saw a really large book opening---revealing my life. And I wondered about my existence in this afterlife. And that was the dream I had last night.

you could be right. but as far as the low spark of high-heeled boys is concerned, it was a reference by actor michael j. pollard [in an inscription in his pal musician jim capaldi's book] to the streetsmart zeitgeist of his generation of boomers, who were hip and onto a generational wave of what they perceived to be new ways of thinking and feeling and being. as jim capaldi explained it later-
"For me, it summed him up. He had this tremendous rebel attitude. He walked around in his cowboy boots, his leather jacket. At the time he was a heavy little dude. It seemed to sum up all the people of that generation who were just rebels. [...]
The 'Low Spark', for me, was the spirit, high-spirited. You know, standing on a street corner. The low rider. The 'Low Spark' meaning
that strong undercurrent at the street level."
IOW it was a low spark because it stuck to their generation and didn't affect other generations like what OWS is doing now, for example. i hope that made sense.
gee, that is fascinating- how does one produce a radio program? just curious. that is quite a dream you had. i couldn't begin to parse it.
I've had dreams like this before. Usually, though, they're foreign planets and the sky is a deep red and/or purple. There's also a sense of deep loss accompanying them. In one, I remember making a suicide pact with someone.

thumbnail descriptions of the symbology therein-
Red Sky
Red is an indication of raw energy, force, vigor, intense passion, aggression, power, courage, impulsiveness and passion. The color red has deep emotional and spiritual connotations. Consider the phrase "seeing red" to denote anger. Alternatively, the color red in your dream indicates a lack of energy. You are feeling tired or lethargic. Red is also the color of danger, violence, blood, shame, rejection, sexual impulses and urges.Perhaps you need to stop and think about your actions. To see a red colored sky in your dream represents looming danger. Alternatively, it suggests that something is coming to an end.
Purple
Purple is indicative of devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, and compassion. It is also the color of royalty, high rank, justice, wealth and dignity.
Outer Space
To dream of outer space represents your boundless creativity. Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor that something or someone has just came out of nowhere.
Planet
To see a planet in your dream signifies creativity, exploration, and new adventures. You are trying to align yourself with untapped energies that you never knew you had. Alternatively, to dream of planets suggests that you are trying to escape from your own waking reality.
Suicide
To dream that you commit suicide represents your desperate desire to escape from your waking life. You may be harboring feelings of guilt that you cannot get over and thus turning the aggression on yourself. You need to start approaching problems from a different angle. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you are saying good-bye to one aspect of yourself and hello to a whole new you. It is symbolic of a personal transformation or a new stage in your life. To see someone commit suicide in you dream, highlights your concerns for that person. Consider what characteristics and qualities in that person you may be trying to "kill" and annihilate in your own self. Perhaps you hope that you are not like this person and are making attempts to get rid of those traits within your own self.

a lot of symbology here-
Corner
To dream that you are transiting a corner signifies feelings of frustration and lack of control in making decisions. You may feel trapped and "cornered". You have challenges in life to surmound or get past. To turn onto a familiar street in your dream symbolizes your life's path. The condition of the street reflects how much control you have over the direction of your life. Consider also the name on the street as it may offer some significance or advice to the meaning of the dream. To see or travel on side streets in your dream refer to a need to explore an alternative way of life.
To see a purple nebula in the sky indicates your aspirations, which are of course sky high, the sky's the limit here for our hopes and dreams. But remember that nebulas are gaseous creations, fragile celestial vapors as it were, and are subject to disturbance by stellar winds of fate and whim. In any case, purple is indicative of devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, and compassion. It is also the color of royalty, high rank, justice, wealth and dignity.
Planet
To see a planet in your dream signifies creativity, exploration, and new adventures. You are trying to align yourself with untapped energies that you never knew you had. Alternatively, to dream of planets suggests that you are trying to escape from your own waking reality. To see Saturn in your dream represents discipline, constraints, and limitations. It is a reflection of your conservative attitude. Alternatively, the dream refers to the cycles of life and how it brings about destruction and rebirth.
Stars
To see stars in your dream symbolize excellence, success, aspirations or high ideals. You are putting some decision in the hands of fate and luck. Perhaps you are being too "starry eyed" or idealistic.
I had a dream last night that me and some girl that I don't know (but in the dream we had just met and somehow cared deeply for eachother. Oddly enough, I can describe what she looked like which is extremely rare for me. People in my dreams are usually detail-less entities) were running from the Joker from Batman. I don't think it was the Heath Ledger Joker because this guy was less edgy and more silly so probably more like the cartoon or Jack Nicholson Joker. Anyway we were in this big warehouse type building but it had hallways and smaller rooms as well, most were completely empty and we kept finding small rooms to hide in and hope he would not find us. A couple of times we were found but we managed to get away again. I remember distinctly one time once he caught us we were walking with him and we saw a red Viper (car) through the glass doors outside and I exclaimed that it was so awesome and it's my favorite car and then we ran away while he was destracted. Then we hid in a small room while he was having a party in the larger room just outsdie of us, someone found us by stumbling through the wall by accident, we then realized the wall was some kind of hologram and we fled through it. We found a giant storage room filled with all kinds of random metal stacked objects and we crawled through it to reach a kind of back coner behind all the items and we were hiding there. Then the roof started to colapse on us. I was safe against the corner but I noticed that the other girl was in danger so I grabbed her and pulled her against me but she was struck by debris and rendered unconscious. Then her husband came walking up from the oudside and said something to me(apparently the walls of this room are chainlink now) and when I saw him I had a vague memory that she had told me he was mean to her and abused her. So I held her unconscious body in my arms, looked calmly at the husband and told him that I was her lover.
Thats when my alarm went off. O.o
Analyze that one if you dare, auntblabby

Thanks Aunty. No, i didn't need disemboweling.
I'm reading it like, I've turned a corner.
Saturn is the lord of karma, the planet of limitation, organization, structure and discipline. Those things I don't like, or am not good at. But I have to face him. I think it's about me recognizing that those things are necessary and can even be beautiful. It was very beautiful.

i dreamed last night that i was at a persons house who was a drug dealer.
----
synopsis: when i was about 17 i had a very smart friend called "hardy", and he was an expert in a botanical sense. he grew very well constructed bonsai plants and he experimented much with many horticultural processes. he also liked to smoke marijuana, and he had a crop growing on his mothers back balcony, and that crop consisted of many strains that were all tagged.
i did not participate in the smoking part, but i was none the less present on many occasions at his house and i always had a good time.
everyone sat cross legged on the floor and contributed what they had to say (including me), and it was somewhat fun.
__________
so the dream i had last night was where i was sitting cross legged on the floor of hardy's house, and there was a man in a police uniform (who looked physically like a classic policeman as well) sitting also on the floor cross legged next to me.
i wondered whether he was a corrupt policeman or a deluded person who was wearing a policemans suit.
he smoked a bong that he was handed, and he handed over money to the hardy person for 1 ounce of the marijuana.
then i questioned his authenticity and he showed me his gun, and i became quite rigid with caution, and i asked him if it was loaded, and he said "that's for me to know, and for you to find out", and so i panicked and said "i think i will find out now", and i grabbed the gun, and i immediately realized it was a plastic replica, and he just melted away, and i then felt like i had to go to the toilet, so i woke up, and i realized it was all a dream.
too many commas in that sentence.
i think i spent too much time online yesterday because part of my dream involved coming on wp. moog was throwing a strop and saying how he was turning his back on this foolish lifestyle and going off to be an office bigwig, he had seen a light, and there was a big todo about it and i thought it was sad. i'd also been at work (irl) and so ended up dreaming that i was at work in a big fluffy dressing gown. it was kind of like one of those leaving the house naked dreams, except everyone seemed to accept my attire, and i didn't panic about it. the man at work i have a crush on was there and he kept talking about how 100% straight he was and how it's weird that everyone thinks he is gay. no hidden meanings there
i should come on here in the morning, i can barely remember anything by this point in the day
Aww, would you miss me?
Chances of my becoming an office bigwig = 0 or fewer

aww, thank you.
Hyper said she had a dream that some guy gave me a job. Maybe it's on the cards.
I worry about invading other people's dreams, I worry that I'll behave badly
