We're having a heat wave----it's a whole 11 degrees F, this morning----yesterday, it was FIVE degrees!! I'm so SICK of the cold!!

Weirdly calm. The cyclone has been upgraded to a category 5. We've battened down the hatches. Expected to hit mid-morning. If I disappear from WP you'll know I've been blown away.

49F Hard Freeze Warning for tonight at 28F!
It's hard to believe that 2 hurricanes are hitting Australia until I realize It's summer there.
The entire state is in a freeze warning except the Keys and Miami.
Everything north of I4 is in a Hard Freeze Warning.
Parts of Alaska are up to 10 degrees warmer.

The windchill, tonight, is expected to be 10-20 degrees F, BELOW zero!! I don't think I EVER remember these temperatures, in Baltimore.....
