after a visit to a "high end" audio shoppe in the big city [mostly high-end prices] I came to the surprising conclusion that if I won the lotto and bought me some of that equipment [an entry-level setup composed of vandersteen 1Ci speakers, rega brio R integrated amp, rega Apollo CD player, some brand of braided speaker wire that cost $100 a FOOT ( 
), that all together cost as much as a small car], that i'd still be merely trading one set of audio distortions for another fancier set of distortions.
