I have finally figured out how to dress in a way that's 'me' but that doesn't look ridiculous or too young for my age.

How did I end up in this thread? Oh well, I did get happy when I decided to take it easier on myself this morning.

got paid $50 to test-drive a '17 Honda CRV today :) a buck's a buck, as they say :D

Does it have the stupid push-button parking brake like the current Civic, or does it have a proper handbrake?

has el stooooopido push-button brake that took an act of congress to get to release. need a PhD to drive that thing. but it rode surprisingly well on our local rough and bumpy roads. and very quiet, as well. has a CVT so no shifting noise, the engine was mostly silent accept when accelerating, the CVT sapped some power compared to the earlier 5-speed version. wish I had $30k [how much the base lx costs these days]. just a few years ago they started out at $22k. no more.

My response should be in the UNHAPPY thread, quiet cars make me a sad panda. Straight pipes make me happy.

do you also prefer hard riding sports cars as well, or can you go for a smooth cushmobile?

Fairly firm, but too firm causes a reduction in traction. My dad's Datsun is fine to ride in but is set up firmer than it needs to be.

the roughest-riding vehicle I've ever been in, was a 1973 Datsun pickup. that just about threw out my back. :o

My theatre class was so fun, I'm still the silent person in the group but when I say something (funny) they think I'm hilarious!
What an Awesome group, I love them!

I was girding myself for biting cold and sleet and bracing wind, but by the time I did my exercises and dressed and went outside, the clouds parted revealing the most pure azure sky and bright golden sunshine, and although still biting cold was a lot happier :sunny:

a guy got out of the passenger seat of a passing car to help push a truck that had died at the entrance of the nearby grocery store's parking lot... the truck seemed pretty heavy, and having been asked to help push it into a spot in an uphill lot during a near blinding migraine while out on a walk to the store and having wanted to be as invisible as possible already, it was nice to have his help hasten the process.

I am trying to be helpful today. I think it might be working.
