A few things have made me unhappy lately. On Canada Day I got to go to my parents for the afternoon but we didn't leave until after 8. My brother and sil made a surprise visit, but I didn't get to talk to him much and everyone else was, typically, talking to each other and not me, and I was bored to tears - very literally - and didn't get to go to any Canada Day events, and they canceled the fireworks display because they thought it would rain. It didn't. My psychiatrist wants me to see him Wednesday at 9:30 AM but I'm lucky I can get up at noon and not feel like road kill now. As if I'm going to be able to turn from a night owl to an early bird so easily and in one night. I'll be lucky I'm not so out of it I pass out during the appointment. But I need to get my prescriptions refilled.

And today I wasn't able to get groceries because my mom has the day off from work today since the place where she works stayed open on July 1st and isn't able to take me to the store. I'm planning to go soon by myself to pick up milk and some other things, anyway. That's the least of my worries. :(

Thank you, Raleigh. Ma has double pneumonia. I had to go to the ER last week for the same thing so I'm pretty sure I gave it to her. She was around me too much at Pa's funeral. I pray you are doing well.

I only got a couple hours of sleep last night cuz I had to get up early to go places today. I did a lot of walking today some of which was outside & it felt really hot.

This stupid security alert pop-up is preventing me from making my posts. I've wasted a good 20 minutes this morning dealing with it.

My mom and I went to KFC where we haven't eaten for quite a while for supper, and they changed the coleslaw and I don't it. The old slaw may have been day-glow-green, but I *liked* it. In fact it's about the only kind of coleslaw I actually like. I'm so not a fan of cabbage.

The new coleslaw also stung my mouth so badly just one bite of it was like acid. My mouth is very sensitive to sharp, vinegary-flavored things.

Also my left knee is really hurting when I go up and down stairs, due to osteoarthritis. And it's all my fault for having a weight problem. :(

Worried about the possibility that Denis Istomin may be suffering the aftereffects of an old injury he sustained in a car accident as a teenager. He did so well to come back from that and make the tour. It would be a shame if he had to retire from tennis because of it.
