I feel more confident for completing the first of my two uni trips this year. The field work has increased my certainty in what I think I should be doing in life and assured me that though most people my age generally clump together with me alone on the outskirts, I can speak to individuals with more success once they're in smaller numbers.

Slowly, I'm becoming better adapted to steadfastly ignoring the random people who stare at me wherever I go in public. The paranoia is as strong as ever, but the caring about these stranger's looks is at an all time low, meaning my mood when out is at an all-time high. I still wish I was the only human being left on the planet, though.
