Remembering that today is the anniversary of my cat Myrtle's death at the age of 20.

Within 5 minutes of being in Amsterdam for the first time, I managed to be exploited for €10 by a black man. He walked me to a coffee shop, and then stated that I would have to pay him for his kindness. I'm such a dope.

My grandmother died. :(

She hadn't been well for a while now and stopped coming over to visit my parents and stuff, so I expected something like this would happen. She was 88.

It's scary thinking what things will be like when my own parents are gone, or even one of them.

So sad to hear this, Lostonearth.

Hugs to you (((Lostonearth)))

A good friend of mine also died. He was 44.

Was it a good coffee shop?

Starting to dismantle and discard a beautiful antique bookcase that was ruined in a flood, beyond repair. Very sad. :(

The staff were friendly and informative, but I regret making the trip. It was most imprudent of me to arrange as I have no sense of direction at all, so I constantly found myself lost.

Don't regret it dude , you've learnt an invaluable lesson if you ever want to go back. You can't really prepare for something if you have no idea how it's going to go. I will pass on a technique that my GF uses for not getting lost in Amsterdam if you ever want to take the plunge again. :D

I seem to be very severely stressed in the mornings. Even on a Sunday when it's not like I know I have to go to work today. Even my days off when there's nothing immediate and material to be stressed out about, I seem to be horrendously on edge and angry, on a short fuse and easily triggered by stuff. I gradually relax as my day goes on.

It's like just getting up in the morning makes me angry about being alive.

I do suffer from PTSD, depression and generalized anxiety with panic disorder. Mornings seem to be my worst time when I feel like I can't cope with the least bit of pressure, problems or stress. It's horrible and I'm miserable.

Older sister's flying visit came to an end. Unlike my brothers, she's the only sibling left who I actually get on with, or for that matter even speaks to me.
