a gratitude for a lack of fear toward dogs. was just out on a walk, and one of the largest dogs ever seen was walking it's human. it nearly pulled the guy off his feet in it's curiosity despite having given them a fair few feet off the sidewalk path to pass in rising to it's two rear feet and leaning to. don't typically feel made so aware that such a creature could easily do quite a bit of bone crushing damage if enraged, though, it seemed playfully curious more than aggressive as if it might have been rather young and wanted nothing more than to innocently say hello with a paw pat to the passing human.

knowing people who have an aggressive fear of dogs for having mistakenly turned fearful tail and having been bitten by strays/escape-artists as a result(have been seized at the wrist by such a reeling vice-like grip too[just didn't pull away for the tear, but latched it's mouth shut with the other hand for whatever counterintuitive reasoning leaving only easily cleaned puncture wounds once freed... so, that such fear could be instigated as a result of worse injury is certainly understandable.], for doing something similarly wrong in attempt to separate a unleashed medium sized shepherd of some sort from another in heat at the instruction of an adult ignorant to the ways of dogs as a pre-teen[a mistake casually made in assessment that it was an, otherwise, very well behaved family friendly ranch dog]), such an experience seems to have made for a newly aware sense of concern for such innocent behemoths at heel of masters that are potentially incapable of keeping them safe even if their lives are naturally ever so short(seems like the biggest ones only live like a handful of years or so... breeding such lovely creatures so large at such a cost for time sounds a disasterous recipe for imminent heartbreak, honestly... as, what is maybe five or six years to the life of a human, but hardly a blink of the mind's eye in hindsight?).

Found a beautiful, large yellow spider in the garden today I hadn't seen before. I love spiders and find them so interesting, it always amuses me how others are aghast that I'll pick them up to put them outside, or otherwise let them walk up my arms, though I'm careful while handling so as not to distress or antagonise them.

^^^yay :flower: when I lived in an apartment it was heaven when all the neighbors were gone, peace and quiet for once. I could then listen to my music as loud as I wanted.

peace of mind, derived, strangely enough...from ambiguity and uncertainty, that which i have strived against for most of my modern life.

i can breathe easier, not being able to know if the lack of communication is due to the other side continuing to be absent, or if that side has attempted to reach me, but i do not know about it because they are silenced.

i would much prefer that kind of self imposed ambiguity, instead of knowing that the split continues to grow, consciously, purposefully...

Signed myself up for some work picking up litter along my area's stretch of beaches. The work is part of a local environmentalist organisation's regular chores. Trying to get my foot in the door, so to speak, with the type of groups who will help legitimise my involvement in the environment field and thus help me go where I want to go.
