DO IT! I bought a 3DS two years ago and I've had a blast with it. :D

I think I'm going to get one as soon as I have enough money. They have a really neat galaxy one at Best Buy for $200. I have a couple of old electronics I can trade in and use that money towards it. I really want to play Animal Crossing and Pokemon.

Awesome. 8) Which Pokemon games are you going to play? And do you plan on getting Smash Bros. too? (I'm asking because I'm buying Smash Bros. next time I have extra money  )

I'm not sure, I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to games, so I don't know much about different ones. I might get Smash Bros., I know a bit about that one and have heard that it is awesome :)

Well, if you are a patient sort of person who's good at strategic thinking, then you'd enjoy Pokemon.

On the other hand, if you want a fast-paced game that's easy to "pick up and go", then Smash Bros. would be right up your alley. :)

There are 6 Pokemon games out for the 3DS: X & Y, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, and Sun & Moon.

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Main_Page <- This would be a great place to start learning about Pokemon.

TheSilentOne: Rune Factory 4 is my favourite 3DS game, along with Final Fantasy Curtain Call [which is excellent if you're a FF fan, or like music a lot]. Pokemon is often good to start with; my first video game was Pokemon Pearl [for the old DS].

I have a 3ds xl (older model) that I "refurbished" that I've wanted to sell, considering I already have an original 3ds in excellent condition. Not sure what to price it at though. It's got a 32gb sd card, the shell got replaced along with the top screen, but they have some scratches on them (a few minor ones on the shell and two on the screen that while noticable does not really affect gameplay, at least in my opinion of owning it for just about a year and a half), along with a stylus and (non-nintendo-official) charger.

I've got 6 different varieties of Sweet Peas on my mind. Mike, Om Nom, LiFE, a green pig from Angry Birds, Cacnea and Super Pea on that Valentine.

Well, the Biatch is back. Evidently the hospital didn't admit her. And her Hunny is over there now. Interesting, because he didn't answer his phone last night. Men aren't kidding me. They all say they want drama-free women, but then it's women like the Biatch that attracts them. I guess someone like me is just too damn boring. Only a nut would want to stay with a falling down drunk. The funny thing is the people that should have had to deal with her last night (her Hunny and daughter) refused to answer their phones or come to their front door. It's easy to show up after the tornado has blown over and try to look like you give a sh!t. People disgust me.

Thanks for the 3DS recommendations everybody! I might go look at some this afternoon, if my sister decides that we should go to the store.

I find it ridiculous that I would have to buy a 3DS XL, an entirely new system, just to be able to play Super Metroid and Earthbound, two games I have wanted to play for years. Then, of course, there's the issue of data transferring from my old 3DS to the XL--I wouldn't want to risk losing it, but...
