I had planned to go to an improv workshop, but I started to feel freaked out and decided to do it next week. Instead, I'll go downtown to the art walk tomorrow.

Kip, I think the dysgraphia is compounded by my distaste for self-promotion. I have to write about myself in an unbalanced way, mentioning only positives about myself. I have a lot of evidence that I am a great employee, but I also wrestle with perfectionism when I evaluate myself. I'll get to it tomorrow and drop it off downtown.

I got a job I think I'm going to love at a library shelving and sorting books. I'll also get to help out at their events. However, they'll call me when they are ready for me to start next week. I'm skeptical though again that they will actually call. I guess I lack patience.

That sounds like the PERFECT job. Just saying. :)

It really is ideal for me :D I have always wanted to work in a library and it is what I'm going to college for :)

Finally got my new pc up and running after some searching. It boots up and loads fully into Windows in about 1/3 the time (if even) it took my old setup. Life is good.

You seem to have both neurodiverse and neurotypical traits

A sharp contrast, and a strange evening. I went to the local art walk. I'd never been on one before. I didn't feel like I fit in, and I didn't know anyone. Meanwhile, a protest march went by. I would have fit in better there, but I can't fully support their cause.

A few days ago I installed Windows 7 in a Virtual Machine, and yesterday evening thought I might as well let it install 136 'important' updates. Thought it might take an hour or two, but seven hours later it's still hard at it (13 still to go) - update number 121 alone took over an hour. It's now 4.29 am over here, bloody hell all I want to do is get this thing finished and go to bed...... :x

I wish I had a friend here to do something with today. I'm feeling lonely, which is pretty rare and I want company.

^Heya!

I'm thinking of waiting until mid-December and then watch every Doctor Who Season 10 episode a day. I don't think I'm going to make it there before accidentally finding out who the next Doctor will be, though...

Hi :D

Yeah, it's hard to avoid spoilers on the internet, especially if you follow Doctor Who-related pages and people on social media. I'm currently all caught up on series 10, there is a new episode tonight too. I won't spoil anything for you though

Thanks! Here's something neat I noticed: William Hartnel was 55 when he started playing the Doctor, and so was Peter Capaldi! Since they are both technically the 'First' Doctor [with Twelve being the first incarnation of his new regeneration cycle], that's kind of uncanny. 8O

^No it would not be wired at all. It wouldn't even be weird. It's your avatar; you can do what you want with it.

Beginning to suspect madness runs deep in my family. Tonight my mum accidentally knocked an entire cupboard complete with china figurines which smashed into small, sharp fragments down upon my back, all while I was rummaging around trying to find the batteries she'd also accidentally knocked out of her tealights a few seconds before.
With literally anyone else, my paranoia would be singing that this was all an elaborate assassination attempt but she is a walking hurricane of ridiculous accidents - we are the only two people I know who've fallen up an escalator! No doubt I inherited her clumsiness on a smaller scale. Had to then demonstrate my own authority, rarely seen, and scream at both my parents in order to break up a small physical fight, my dad thinking she did it all 'on purpose'. That was certainly the worse part of all this.
All in all feeling incredibly upset, and rather like someone has dragon-kicked my spine.
