I had a rather biased view of meeting other aspies. I feel that I usually come off as too old or too young - perhaps because of the social issues not allowing me to fit in. So I felt this would be the same when it comes to meeting others similar to myself.. But I met chrissyrun the other day. It was interesting - like we both had the same mild issues/could be understanding of one another. No awkwardness, although I do think I insulted her the minute I saw her by accident (misphrased a greeting). But then I think we where both pretty blunt - so it was interesting/non taxing - and there was no hint of deception like with NT's.
Yea, you seemed young enough.
I actually felt more awkward than you thought, but that's only because I met ya outside of the institute and church people kept coming up and saying hi to me. Bad planning on my part.
Just trying to be safe though.
Ha, I don't even remember you saying anything insulting. If you were talking about the rollerblades and mace, I thought that was funny. I like being intimidating.
Exactly, I'm not a scary person to be around...however, I felt way more awkwardness on my end as I already said.
