...will be going to dinner and a play with the hiking group I've recently joined. a much needed change from the usual routine... summed up the courage to do this in December, for the first time in years, and realized I should have stepped out of my comfort zone, sooner. really looking forward to it, this time. the play is Big Fish. apparently a novel and movie exist, but hadn't heard of it. My folks liked the move and said it should be a good live performance. good day/evening to all of you...

two disc collector's edition of "ip man 2" arrived in the mail today... also finally got in to see the neurologist this morning, of which the appointment seemed to go better than expected.

The power of GIS has saved my end of year assignment from certain ridicule, though I can't take the credit for it. A mature student I worked with at my field school on our team projects emailed me a theory as to why the data we collected produced such mad results: suddenly all falls into place. Hadn't realised how much this had been bothering me until now.
