saw the gastroenterologist today... apparently someone cancelled their appointment, so upon calling they said an appointment could be made for the same day, today. have to schedule and have some tests done soon, but otherwise the doctor was unexpectedly patient, nice and actually listened.

A lovely hike through some of the local hills, here, with a couple from my hiking group. Most of the wildflowers are in full bloom, and it was a particularly beautiful day.

An enormous bone-in ribeye we grilled. Also, the low cost of quality beef in Portugal. 5 euros!

Last night I found a nice work in progress squirreled away in my art folder that I'd completely forgotten about. Really back into it, now. It's destined to become a photo-realism piece so is pretty heavy-going on the eyes, but I do love my drawing. My line sketch was already complete so the main work of filling it out can begin immediately.
