I sought for control and will so much, that I ended hating the state of anxiety.

I was so happy that I got rid of anxiety, and I've been really grateful that happened.

... Even if it costed me sympathy.

i'm on an angiotensin converting enzyme (ace) inhibitor, a diuretic, and potassium.

are you on an ace inhibitor (pril) or an angiotensin receptor blocker (sartan)?

losartan 25mg and lovastatin 10mg. I get a lot of potassium from daily banana plus liberal helpings of potassium chloride [fake salt]. I don't know if it inhibits or blocks.

i need the potassium because of the diuretic. losartan RAISES serum potassium. you might want to watch how much potassium you take in or at least have your doc check your potassium on your current diet and med regimen. high potassium can cause muscle weakness and heart rhythm disturbances including cardiac arrest. block, inhibit, potato, potahto.

doc knows about my fake salt use. next time i see her at the end of august i will bring that point up. thank you for your wisdom in this regard :flower: I was on hydrochlorothiazide a while ago but that killed my hydraulics dead, so I hope I don't have to go on it again.

there are TONS of blood pressure meds. never a need to be on one with significant side effects.

hopefully my doc can steer me to the benign ones. but I wonder why past docs gave me those other drugs with the side effects?

impossible to know which people will have which side effects without trial and error. hydrochlorothiazide has NO side effects for me (so far). that's why they want to do genetic testing on a million people and see if they can find predictors for precision medicine.

ok, if you take brother and sister for example, give the brother a drug whose main side effect is hydraulic failure, and give the same drug to the sister, what is likely to be her side effect?

my brother-i-l is on hydrochlorothiazide and carvedilol without side effects after trial of several drugs that left him without energy.

he is fortunate that his genetics tolerate those drugs [at least the former] better than my genetics.

I found that the power of hate is indeed more powerful than the power of love. Wielded it both first hand, and seen the difference.

Or is it because the power of love tend to be passive than active? :? Or maybe it's just me who finds evoking curses to be easier than granting blessings?

And no, I'm not a witch or any of that sort. I'm talking about emotions, outcomes, and playing with endless tangled strings and numbers.
