I've finally used up all of the hideous green tea my older siblings both bought en masse for me last Christmas. They were both expensive, loose blends and I hate wasting things, especially presents, so I've been slowly drinking my way though all of it. Now I can go back to my black teas and herbal blends. To avoid the same situation again I really need to communicate with them better as they still must believe I like the stuff - it was just a phase.

Gave my mom a belated mother's day gift. She seemed to like it.

I am having pizza for lunch

The teddybear my mum gave me today, and what it represented. It was so thoughtful, and I really like it.

One of the manga volumes I ordered on Amazon arrived today. It's called Rin-chan Now! It's a manga that celebrates the Vocaloid Rin Kagamine and all of her devoted fans. I learned that there's even a word for people who are obsessed with Rin, at least in the Japanese language - "Rin-hai".

Rin has always been my favorite Vocaloid - hence why I bought the manga - so I suppose I'm a bit "Rin-hai" myself.

We got certificates of appreciation at work at an all-staff meeting.

A personal issue may be coming closer to a resolution.

Applied for Amazon's MTurk thing last year and finally got approved... Spent about 20 mins messing around with it, mostly checking it out and only did 5 surveys that took all of 10 mins for $1.11. Wouldn't say I am super happy about it, but extra cash without having to leave home is not a bad thing.

Rafael Nadal, Kei Nishikori and Juan Martin del Potro advanced to the third round in Rome. (Rafa's opponent had to withdraw with an injury, unfortunately, but Rafa was well ahead, so I think he would have won the match anyway.)

I see my worker today.

I get to type out more of my story and possibly go to the park.

My cat, C.C., had a good checkup at the vet and is eating well.
