I don't feel lonesome tonight. I went out with Dean and Barb today and I'm at my parents place right now. I also haven't had a morning shower in weeks. There's been no need. I usually have a long bath in the evenings. So much so, that it's 9 PM before I turn on the TV. I don't even have time to post on WP.

In the last couple of years, I've learned that I hate being alone at Christmas. It's so much more stressful than being surrounded by people and noise at a time of year when I just want to sleep a lot.

I'm glad Christmas Day is over. It's my least favourite day of the year. I love New Year's Day. I know that things are going to change very quickly for Trans people and a whole new world awaits me in June, Pride Month. I will no longer be called a lady, or miss or madam in June and I'll be able to open up to people as easily as Barb and Dean can. The world will no longer seem like a landmine to me. Things always change on New Year's Day. I'm elated.
