Hugs for your neighbor from IstominFan. I have been through that sadness many times with my pets and it hurts.

Nagging.

Slept in too late this morning.

I have a job interview in half an hour, and I'm on WP to kill time. Job interviews make me nervous.

Feeling lonely, even though I have a family. I have one friend who I don't see, only text with, often, but no face-to-face friends. I'm pretty boring and unlikable I think.

Crown came off one of my back teeth. I was in a restaurant at the time. Eating really good pancakes, darn it.

On the plus side, (a) I recovered it and nobody else was even aware there was a problem; (b) it's safely stowed; (c) I'd almost finished the meal so I didn't have to go hungry; (d) I know exactly what to do in this situation and did it ASAP; and (e) no pain.

On the minus side, I don't see my dentist until tomorrow.

On the profoundly grateful side, I signed up for high-coverage dental insurance the instant it was offered at work, and I was able to keep it into retirement. Whew.

The horrible post office woman. She's so ... I don't know. I just don't like her voice and manner. I had to leave the place. I think I uttered the most autistic thing I've ever said, under my breath, 'I don't like it here'. :/

^ Don't worry, the post office will probably disappear from the earth in a couple more years. But that's not nearly as bad as 2-D western animation or the music industry doing the same thing.

My professor wouldn't let me have an extension on my essay because I didn't send in my letter of accommodation on time.

It is raining outside.

Crapdoodle, I'm going to have to get a back molar extracted. Although it's been a shell of its former self for a decade (root canal; they seem to fail after 10 - 20 years). So not exactly surprised by the news.

I am a mandatory gold crown type - extremely hard bite, all my life - so I'm thinking about taking this pic to the endodontist and asking whether I can get a full set of these implanted. In jest, of course. Would be impressive on a little old lady - and give a whole new meaning to "biting wit".

I went to RiteAid to see if the Halloween candy was on sale for a good price but I couldn't go down that isle because a few people were working on it & had it blocked off. Maybe I'll go tomorrow.

Pulled over by police (passenger side headlight out.)

(sigh) second visual migraine in a week, after months without any at all, and it's happening right now. Started about 3 minutes ago. I'm proofreading this with my peripheral vision (annoying!).

I know these pass, but it's frustrating to be sidelined while I wait. Apologies for any typos, logging out 'cuz I cannot see at the moment.
