my left hip is not ailing. my left hip will bear all my body weight without complaint. my right hip and knee are not screaming in protest at having to carry all the weight my left side isn't tolerating.

When I broke my left foot twice in a row without healing, it was great fun to wear a walking boot while also having a walker for my stroke. I felt really pretty!

Good times!

I was once really delighted in taking hydrocodone. It made me euphoric.

I am not sorry you had to go through what you’ve gone through.

I was not confused for years because my dentist would refer to pain as “tickling.” I did not only figure it out when I was fourteen and broke a tooth (my first real dental problem), he asked if it tickled, I said no, they poked at it, I cringed, he said it looked like that tickled, and I finally realized. Nope, never happened.

Just goes to show my autism stops me, sometimes from knowing how to take people, I am glad I never offended you.

Just as an aside (sorry for slight de-rail) when I used to work, we had to do role plays on a course, my part was a customer who was a bit dense, and my colleagues part was the staff member. I played the role so well, she got crotchety with me and I had to explain I was acting and all was well again between us.
