Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? 8O

Whiskey has made me happy on many occasions, but never the tango or foxtrot.

He was using the NATO alphabet, to spell out "WTF". :P

That is correct. My comment was in reference to that... meat blob thingy up there.

Ah, that's Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, a cartoon on Adult Swim. ;)

I got the WTF thing, I was just being stupid as usual.

And yes, that's Meatwad. He's friends with Boxy Brown.

He looks tough, but he's just a box.

Boxy Brown: "I'm just a what, b**ch?!"

Jory: Y-You... You are the Duke of New York! You're A-Number One!

Boxy Brown: "Hahaha, yeaaaaah!"

my kid is insisting that i finally watch RENT with her today. i love that she tries to enculturate me.

I saw that. It was really cool. My daughter told me about it.

i cried through half of it. didn't really know what it was about. but i liked it a lot.

EDIT: didn't know what RENT was about BEFORE i watched it, but NOW i do.

It made me cry, too. Did the DVD include a bio of the author? That was very moving, as well.

no, i saw it on cable, where you can order movies.

my cousin died of AIDS in 1993, so it really cut close. i just read the creator's biography and that is pretty damn sad too. i think i'm in the wrong thread now.

back-story:

My college roommate has been bringing over large groups of delinquent youngsters, making all kinds of noise at all hours, engaging in all manner of sexual miscreance. The authorities have given me paltry options as to kicking these people out.

the clincher:

My roommate found out this morning that one of his companions stole his new laptop!

Out the buggers go, and a measure of disconsolation on him as well!

Schadenfreude is delicious when enjoyed in moderation.

I went to my Uncle's wedding and I said a "Prayer of the Faithful" at the mass and I did really well at it and also interacted with the people at the wedding very well. It was a large crowd and I was very nervous and cetain things were buggine me but I made sure that these weren't my focus. It was a great day overall :)
