hmm...about 10 days ago, when I saw that poor drowned cone in the river, it brings tears to even think about its plight

Wasn't it smelly and dark and dirty and stifling inside there? 
When you said you were going to put it on your head, I thought you meant balance it on top. It hadn't occurred to me that the cone would of course be too wide for that, and that in fact you can fit your whole head inside.
He's not really obsessed, it's just the rest of us are egging him on because we find it fun. 
TPP, if having serious or intense random obsessions qualifies as insanity, I must be a borderline lunatic.

I will be brave enough to post my face as well, some day, but even if I don't think it looks bad, posting it on an open forum is a big step for me (I mean, consider how much larger a step it would have been half a year ago, when I was too scared to post at all!)

Yes, posting one's face is quite scary, isn't it? If you're like me, though, you can always remove it again ten seconds later.
If it makes you feel any better, my latest random obsession is quite a weird one. I don't feel like sharing it here.

I am not tired yet feeling a little lazy this evening, I need an early night tomorrow...
I did, nothing too special, though he isn't that fussed with presents really...
My dad actually has some AS traits himself, which I find funny and makes me think about how I come across to others...because to be honest, he is sometimes annoying (don't tell him that)!
