A dollhouse, then. You probably had sufficient imagination not to need one.

It was 3, I have many computers, I keep my old ones around and in shape.

My house is behind a massive graveyard. Can be noisy at night, with the howling and the moaning, but they are nice. Just throw a kid over the fence once in a while that I find too noisy and it's peaceful again.

My dog is white, a Maltese.

I'm very envious. That sounds lovely. I love cemeteries.

My lie was 3, as Kortie guessed. Dad didn't make me a dollhouse. My dolls (all named Amy) were too large for a dollhouse and I never really wanted one. I had a Barbie townhouse (commercially-made), but didn't use it. It had high-tech strings to raise the elevator lift.

My dad did build me a doll crib, though. I still have it in my reading room.

1. My dad and I both have two left thumbs. He never built me anything.

2 I tried to put together an exercise bike---with predictable results I had to throw the thing away.

3. Despite my ineptitude, I did put together an armoire for the bedroom.

I have no idea what causes mine, as I've never really felt the need for something minor.

Correct. I couldn't think of a third statement that I could twist just enough to be rendered false, so I just slapped that one on.

You take both pills

I like you're attitude
That would've been a cool experiment to try -- would you be halfway unplugged, or would your mind be shredded from two opposing forces pulling on it?

I think 2. You wouldn't have tried.

Things in my reading room:

1. An antique cabinet housing my 49 Brontë books

2. Black and white photos of my childhood, my parents and my grandparents

3. A walnut sideboard

4. A hand-knotted rug from Morocco

I wish it wasn't so----but it's true. It was a pain in the butt to throw that thing out!

The Lie (unfortunately) is #3. I never put together an armoire.

But...I'm hoping something inspires me. Maybe I can take a crash course in putting together things from IKEA----then move on from there!

#3 is the lie for Isabella.

1. I changed two flat tires in one sitting.

2. I've been able to fix doorknobs.

3. I installed tiles in my kitchen.

You're right! I do have a walnut sideboard but it's not in my reading room.

Your lie is 2. I can't fix doorknobs to save my life :(

The lie is #3. I've never installed tiles in a kitchen. It's a job best left to the professionals lol

I fell asleep at the wheel, so to speak

I got very little sleep last night because of some cough medicine I took.

Well, I'm glad we woke you so you didn't stay at work all night :(

I hope you feel better by tomorrow.

I feel better already... through your medicinal machinations. :)

Alas, I'm going on the train. So I might only post sporadically until about Midnightish.

1. I fractured my wrist when I was ten, and needed to be sedated for surgical repair because of the complex injury. (I stayed overnight in hospital and virtually sobbed for my baby blanket :( )

2. I have a congenital cardiac problem that may have caused my stroke, but it has never been repaired despite my request for surgery.

3. I had my tonsils removed when I was twenty-five, after years of complications.

1 and 2 are true.
I never had my tonsils removed, so 3 is my lie.
