^^ Thank you! With a bit more time to reflect, I suspect lack of sleep was the culprit, plus stress. A lesson for me.

Thank you and the same to you Miss Weatherwax.

The only UPS place in Portland that is currently hiring is located in an industrial area where only people who frequent know where exactly it is.

Other UPS locations in Portland are not hiring now.

I couldn't fall asleep at all last night; well my night because I went to bed really late. I took a nap yesterday cuz my girlfriend did & that may of messed me up. I also felt kind of hot probably cuz the weather is warming up but we still need to run the heater some for downstairs & the heater is a floor furnace so heat rises upstairs. I went to bed around 9 cuz I wasn't feeling very tired till about then & we have a couple places to go today & I didn't want to wait any later so I could get some sleep. Cass had said to set my alarm for 2 & I did. I stayed in bed till after 12 tossing & turning some & feeling tired. At one point I was starting to fall asleep but then my phone rang; I didn't answer since it wasn't a programed number & I get lots of cr@p calls. I probably won't be able to take a nap till we get back from Cass's doc appoint which is at 6 but it's just down the road alittle ways & we tend to get called closer to our time when we have later appointments like this so I'd guess that we'd be back by 7 or not much later.

And I am getting really stupid and logy, because I'm off caffeine and on yarrow and chamomile for the next few days, and chamomile knocks me over. (Ulcer flared up. Bad. Yarrow and chamomile are extremely good for healing.)

So I'm out of here for now, gotta finish my evening meal and do a bunch of kitty maintenance before I can start snoring...

Thanx :) Cass's appointment was actually at 6:30 & the appointment was over at 7:30. Doc ran late cuz of an examination on another patient. I decided I'd just stay up till I eat since I wanted some time to relax before going to bed & then it seemed like I should just wait alittle longer & eat which I'm getting ready to do. Then I'll take a nap for a few hours & hope I can fall asleep again later. I have some meds I could take if I have like over 5 hours to sleep.

Got up at around 11:30 feeling like I'd slept for 2 hours.

My caseworker tried to help me tidy the living room but I got overwhelmed and had a meltdown.

My pre-paid credit cards can't be processed to buy and download The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure for some reason.

Depressed at how the whole world sees autistic people as potential mass murderers or that we're this way because of vaccines. Some genius anti-vaxxer the other day on Facebook claimed vaccines also cause dementia. I told them about all the very unpleasant symptoms and life-threatening complications of pertussis and measles and said there are autistic people who never got vaccinated, but I might as well be talking to a brick wall.

God I hate anti-vaxxers. I hate them so much I burst into flames.
A few minutes ago I was watching a video that showed some of the worst memes with the Minions in them. I expected them to be cringeworthy, but I didn't expect a couple of them to have anti-vaxxer messages. The second one said people who vaccinate kids should be shot - with bullets.

It's SO good to know there are people in the world who think my parents should both be murdered because they wanted me protected from diseases that could have killed me or left me brain-damaged, the latter of which is ironic. NOT.

Stop the world, I want to get off. :(

I agree. I get so sad about the world. Humanity is in bad shape.

^^ We are animals, fundamentally, and all too many of us see that as the ultimate goal.

I'm pre-unhappy: worried. High winds all night long, and still now, and I have an appointment to get my taxes done today, and the road out of my neighborhood is flanked by mature trees. Branches tend to come down on it in weather like this. I've stopped my car to clear them several times before, so I guess instead of being nervous I should get out, check my house etc., and go see if that needs doing now.

Wind was bad enough that I had to run out in my robe and PJs this morning, to lash my trash bin to the side rails of the porch with a big honkin' bungee cord; it kept blowing over. It's a huge bin. This is bad wind.

This is why I always say: Move all those telephone and electrical wires UNDER GROUND!

I never lost power during Superstorm Sandy....because everything is underground in my neighborhood.

Yuck, woke up to some woman angrily yelling outside an apartment building across from the back yard(its not the first time). But then that stopped for a bit, I guess she was yelling at her S.O or ex I might imagine...apparently he wants to take his kid, she doesn't want him to. So had to listen to that, its rather hot in my apartment so I have the sliding door open a bit.

just the other day I was out in the evening smoking and she was yelling profanities for some reason, but also carrying said toddler around even screamed 'f**K' in the kids face. Its just getting obnoxious hearing her out there yelling all the time.
