I'm not in the frame of mind to be "happy" at the moment but was marginally less pissed off by the fact that I remembered probably 75% of my current signs file. I know fluency is gradual, but it annoys me. I want to be fluent NOW.

Driving a sick 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer rental car. This car was a lot of fun. I actually enjoy renting rather than owning one. None if the bs, and I get a new 1 year old or less car to drive each time. Even with the cheapest prices, Enterprise only stocked some pretty sweet cars. Even though I only paid for an economy car they just let me pick any car on the lot for the same price. I thought that was pretty cool.

Had to laugh at myself over the cunning of a fox that got me squarely today. It came into the garden and wandered round the back into our open garage, looking painfully thin. I brought some food the cats had rejected for it and after some cajoling, got close enough to put it down for him. Not long after I retrieved the empty food bowl and saw the damn thing jumping the fence with something nicked from the garage in it's jaws.

Aw, Kura! How sweet about Boo!

Good tennis at the U.S. Open. A potential Federer-Nadal semifinal is still possible. Juan Martin del Potro won his match yesterday despite being ill.

American players are also doing well. Sloane Stephens and Sam Querrey are playing outstanding tennis.
