Reading an article about Rick Santorum insulting survivors of the Parkland school shooting in which he tells them to take CPR classes instead of wanting stricter gun control laws.

You beat me to it. I know Santorum doesn't represent the majority, but it still made me really upset. And I think he also said they want things done for them instead of doing something themselves? As if the kids at Parkland had full control over the things that led to that shooting.

Typically, dial 9 to call out.

On topic: I had to put her on an airplane back to school today. Unrelated, dust must have gotten in my eyes at the airport, causing them to water with no emotional cause whatsoever. I swear.

Seeing a WWF commercial saying that snow leopards are closer to extinction. This is why I can't watch TV anymore. Why do people have to be a**holes and kill them???

Because they simply feel that anything lower on the proverbial pyramid of life simply has no relevance nor significance. But, all creatures large and small are valid regardless of whether we see them as such or not.

Did you hurt your arm? I bruise easily since I started taking Buspar but it helps my anxiety a lot, the bruises don't hurt & I don't notice other side-effects so I have no plans to change it.

I'm very sorry that happened to you LCK. I hope your all better now except for being very p!ssed & distrustful. I'd ditch those friends in a heartbeat except maybe for the girl who helped you to your hotel. The rest are horrible friends. Do you have any idea who drugged you? It may of been one of your so-called "friends" as a prank/practical joke thing

I fell at work last week. I landed on some stress mats but it was embarrassing.

Builders fitting a kitchen in the house next door going at the party wall with a hammer drill. Screwed up everything I wanted to get done today because I just had to get out the house to avoid a shutdown. I couldn't even go round to tell them it was a problem because I was beyond coherent speech by the time I managed to get out the house.

My neighbors are now cooking what smells like boiled dinner (one of my least favorite meals), or something with cooked cabbage in it, and I can really smell it. The stink is just awful. :eew:

So I was planning to sleep in till 9, had trouble sleeping last night and woke up for a bit earlier and decided to sleep in till 9 to make sure I was rested enough to go to voc-rehab orientation today. So of course once I started drifting off to get a couple more hours of sleep I hear loud banging on the outer door for quite a bit until someone from another apartment let them in.

Thing is I am almost certain its the same guy who's been obnoxious in other ways, because when they got let in I heard their dumb cough that they do. But yeah he likes to prop open the back door with a chair to smoke cigarettes, making the hall smell like cigarettes, or if he doesn't prop open the back door he paces and stands uncomfortably close to my back sliding door even while making a chatty phone call. And he'll prop open the front door with little rocks, I think other people do that to...but its annoying because if its chilly the breeze comes right through my apartment door. But yeah so I have heard his distinctive 'cough', doesn't really sound like a real cough, more like the sound you might make if you're going to spit a mucus blob. So I know he was the one knocking.

Thing is I did not actually see him knocking...I sent an email to the real-estate company, but since I didn't specifically see him knocking I didn't specify who I thought it was. Not sure anything will come out of it, maybe they'll post a notice that if you're locked out you need to either call a room-mate or call maintenance...Not bang on the door. For all I knew it was some crazed person trying to get in to do harm.

I woke up after a few hours sleep coughing cuz of a bunch of stomach acid or bile in my throat. I'm afraid to lay back down cuz my throat is still burning & taste awful. I did take a Protonix/Pantoprazole & ate a bunch of icecream which helped alittle. Maybe I'll take a nap later

I think I may need to make a doctor's appointment. I'm anxious about how it might turn out.

Barb's Anti-German son might be joining Dean, Barb and I for dinner at C-Lovers this evening. My IBS will be working overtime.

Kitty4670, I know the feeling of acid re-flux as, that has happened to me from time to time and, it's a most displeasing thing literally. As far as leg pain, I know that as well, for I was born where my legs turned inwards, what most people call pigeon toes but, not as extreme in my case yet, still unpleasant at times.
I hope your overall welfare will get better

I get bad Acid reflux. I sleep with my pillows elevated so I don't get heart burn.
