a tropical wave of some sort just finished with us today.
it basically poured rain for 2 days strait.
minor flooding, although no damage to the property.

otherwise it is summertime, which means that for the next 1.5 months the weather will be:
low 90's during the day
mid 70's at night
and about 40% chance of rain every day in the form of convective thunderstorms.

it's pseudo-monsoon season here 8)

Well, to be precise, 1 Celsius is 1.8 Fahrenheit, but to make things simpler for the viewer I round it up to 2 F for 1 C, but when I get to a Celsius digit that ends in a 3 or 8, I only add 1 F.
Very complicated, I know, perhaps explained better below.

So for 10 C, I would have 50 F. That is actually precise
11 C is 51.8 F, but I round it up to 52
12 C is 53.6 F, but I round it up to 54
13 C is 55.4 F, so I round it down to 55
And so on!

I'm hardly ever up at first light, but when I am I love the birds, they are rather loud!

Just noticed there was a Magnitude 7 "aftershock" near Japan overnight, which can't be good...
