What did you achieve today?

Today at work I managed to run my entire department entirely by myself for like half an hour, albeit not very well. All the other people who were supposed to help with that called in sick so before someone managed to reassign some people over there. It went about like this:

Customer: Hey, could you help me with something?
Me: Sorry, but I'm already helping like 3 other people at the same time so I'll have to get to you later, hopefully some time before the Sun grows into a red giant and consumes the Earth.

On a more positive note, I got my pay check today which I will probably blow on a 1TB solid state drive for my computer to replace my 250GB hard disk drive that is about as slow as a continent.

Wrote 500 words of my Amnesia: The Dark Descent/Don't Starve crossover fanfic. Although, it deviates so incredibly far from its respective source materials that I'm tempted to pull an E.L. James by slapping new names on the characters and calling it an "original".

I got more writing done, and I'm on Part VI of VII in my longest story.

hooked up the portable a/c units and installed the chilipad, filled with distilled water, plugged in, slept soundly with no more night sweats

Spring cleaning.

I also planned out a way to get all of the best abilities and weapons and armor in one of my video games.

The game I mentioned is Dragon Quest IX, and the record time for someone who got 100% completion is 773 hours. Then again, it's such an open game that you can play it however you like...but it's kind of a rule that whenever I play video games, I always have my heroes choose swords so in this game, I need to get three characters up to 100 skill points in Swords, Shields, and Gladiator, and the final character up to 100 skill points in Wands, Boomerangs, Shields, and Sage. There's also a couple more abilities I want them to get. So...yeah. I have a lot to do.

cooked some quasi-goulash with bean pasta and mackerel and cauliflower.

I went to the Bank! and came back again! I grow stronger.

I cleaned my room and helped my mum.

I worked more on my stories.

Made an appalling mess of a mixed media painting/drawing I've started work on, but have managed to save it from the bin by merit of a white colouring pencil.

Tore down 36 feet of a 2 foot high sandstone retaining wall that someone installed poorly. That was by 10 a.m. Then I sat and read the rest of the day because it was f'in hot as sh't. 2 foot by 2 foot trench digging in rock hard clay soil starts tomorrow, yay me.

I wrote more of my story, and am nearly finished.
