In my yoga class tonight I'd noticed a nervous new student who I'd never seen before, likely her first time. During the session I realised she was checking all of her positions by using me as the visual marionette - worked myself harder than usual to ensure I was a good enough example of how things were done! Though I've only practiced yoga for 9 months I am still very much a beginner in mind and body. Though yoga looks tame, certain moves take great strength and are extremely tough to hold, but I suppose progress has been made somewhere along the way. :)

I've been drawing again today. On the second sketch of a still life motive of fruits. In the end I'm hoping to make an oil painting of it.
