It's the weekend

perfect weather. a little cold.

I got an ice cream sundae with hot fudge delivered to my door, so I didn't have to go out.

I have two small "basking lights" (mini brooder lamps) in my home, that I use to bounce IR off the white cathedral ceiling and warm up cold corners in fall and winter. Every year when I first start using them I'm amazed at the difference they make. The warm glow is so comforting; I'm utterly relaxed, utterly content, totally at peace.

I got a 2 year extension on my temp job. Now I don't have to work all day and job hunt all night.

Time spent with a friend yesterday
