Some of us anyway
Trip was good thank you, way better than I expected. Struggled the first few days being with people, but I made it. Woo!
That's really cool! You were so scared and you got through it.
The thigh groper sounded nasty though. Are you glad you went overall?
I am starting to notice that a lot of what people say to other people is just a description of what the other person has been through.
I did not know it was appropriate
to point out things that I thought were "obvious" in a conversation.
Ex. "That creepy guy on the train/plane/bus/whatever seemed creepy."
"You were scared."
But I guess that makes sense, since nobody can read your mind.
If you don't acknowledge what they are saying, what conversation is there to be had? How are they supposed to know how you feel? ...It's a confirmation.

Also, glad you liked the songs I posted.
A lot of conversation is just acknowledgement. I did not know that you were supposed to acknowledge people to that degree.
Interesting.
Also, it's interesting how Racheypie say things in such a concise manner. If it were me, I would have rambled on for two paragraphs!
Good observations Lilli. Acknowledgements and responses show you're engaging in conversation, otherwise you're just people talking at (and not with) each other.
This thread can look like that sometimes, I quite like it. We're all so autistic, awwwww.
Concision is not in my nature when writing, I've learned it for this site
. My earlier posts were way longer.

What is conditional love?
If you hate someone when they act hateful to you, but still love them again later, is that conditional?
My dad says love is conditional.
He means it in the sense that: 'I will love you, unless you do X, Y, or Z'
I personally don't think that's love, or how love works.
