Its bitter sweet :) We are not a social crew actually i would say we are all neurodiverse in our own individual way, so rarely any visitors and as i live on the upper floor i dont hear the door nor answer it, If i do hear it i know its pretty much not for me..

I did like my own place to a point. I was going through a rough long patch and totally closed myself off, including curtains, Totally froze if i heard someone at the door... I get social exposure now but its minimal...

My neighbours are cool, have a 90 year old fella next door, really nice chap and help him out now and again and barely hear anything from the others...
I have a nice view from the deck as pith this pic of the moonrise:

and one of our local sunsets:

So having a few good housemates with that view i think i can cope with the trade off :)

Wow... That is a beautiful view!

Sounds like you are at a much healthier place socially now. You can't isolate when you live with people like that. Your brave for breaking out of that vicious cycle..

I also tend to isolate. I don't want to get "close" with my closest neighbours. I'm too unstable. One day I might be in a good mood and feel chatty, then the next I don't want to see anyone.

Yes its a beautiful place, its just full of humans! lol
It is slightly healthier... Was very hard to do! The house move etc... There were other reasons for the move but i knew i coudlnt go down the same path and knew i had to change it.. The option i am in now was the only option that now gives me time to think where to go from here ..... Its all learning to do it in tiny steps and not taking too much on in a short period of time ... I still have major struggles... It is a small town so only takes 2 or 3 people to turn that upside down if their intentions arent genuine... So can be a battle in itself.... I am someone that also learned to internalize so dont often show my inner frustration/confusion/sadness/anxiety... I have moments with some individuals that purposely invade certain boundaries... But try to do the best i can :)

I would like my own place again but think i would do it much differently next time around.

Hey Lillikoi weren't you playing with RGP maker?

I have unused game assets if you want them, cleaning up my data which is gonna probably take a year I found a quite a bit of assets that I created either myself or with an open license meaning it should be pretty legal to use anything you wanted to create. I was gonna make a game but to do it correctly requires a level of coding that I can't do. I wanted to do things you just can't do with stuff like RPG maker and in fact OpenGL in C++ is like the single most complex piece of code I have tried to look at 8O

Anyway here is sample,

Also i very much understand the energy levels etc involved with talking to people, there are some days i have the energy to smile and chatter and others i just close off, the latter being 90% of the time... Where i live is known for its neurodiversity so just let the neighbours know that i am quiet so they wont hear loud music and that i am quiet as a mouse who is pretty private... This is for a me a good enough explanation to subtly mention my introvertness without it becoming a difficult and humiliating discussion... lol

^Yeah, that is a tough one. What to say if someone invites me in for coffee for example :P

Thanks for sharing by the way :) Hope I didn't cross any bounderies.

Also eating only toast with acocado and tomatoes for a long time, is probably not a bad thing. It doesn't get much healthier then that :) I have tried to eat very healty a few times. The problem is I don't like that many vegetables, so I just got underweight instead

Only 40 minutes now until the strangers come 8O

I'm afraid I will wake up my downstars neighbour, because I sometimes sleep during the day and are awake at night time. I'll try and be as quiet as possible!!

No, no boundaries crossed at all! :) ... Dont worry if you had i would let you know the best way i could :)

lol, yes there were a few nutritional groups in that small mix , not everything.. At the moment i try a variety of things. Plan on homemade burrito wraps tomorrow.

Do you prefer sweet or savory foods? or is it certain textures you dont like?

Hope the visit goes well, dont worry! just think of the relief of them leaving and that it will be over in no time, i try to concentrate on that hehe... Just helps a little reducing the anxiety..

True, pure, divine love is unconditional.

It's good to know that you would have told me :)

Thank you for the tip!

That dinner sounds very good, I hope you enjoy it :)

I like both I think. I eat much more different things now then I did as a child. Then I was very picky. I don't like raw tomatoes, avocado and cucumbers, and I was suppose to eat a lot of that on the diet I was on. I ended up eating just toast with butter instead

Yes, but it's because I have troubles with sleep. So I just gave up some years back. I sleep when I sleep, and am awake when I'm awake 8)

^^^Well, I just caught a bit on the previous pages about Dcj ranting about how love is conditional. Conditional love is not truly love.
