I will probably never have a job again no matter how hard I try to improve anything or how many I apply for. The only jobs I’ve ever managed to get were ones where my employers were so desperate for employees that they asked me multiple times if I knew anyone else who wanted a part-time job and were asking me every single week to cover extra shifts, and there was no real interview for either, just an information session for one and filling out paperwork for the other. Both were part-time cleaning jobs and took me months of applying for at least one job a day, and most of the ones I applied for were the kind of crappy part-time jobs that “anyone” (except me, apparently) can get. And all this was before I had ECT that mucked up my short-term memory, or whatever long-term effects lymphoma and/or treatment for it will leave me.

British soldiers scare me. I have nightmares about them.

I'm so fracking sick of American politics that it's not funny. Now that I know that blood thirsty Biden won, there's no reason for me to be arsed anymore.

I engage in simple physical fitness whenever I get an opportunity to do so.

Stop The Cavalry sound like an Oompa song to me. I like it. I ignore the British soldiers in the video and enjoy the tune.

I don’t think there’s a single thing on my Christmas list this year that is not decidedly un-Christmas-ey (examples include Dead Space 3 and a DVD of Event Horizon) I used to care about that, I don’t anymore (although I don’t want my mom sharing the list with just anybody, things go a lot more smoothly if most people don’t know the kind of things I’m really into).

Today's my last day of kettles for The Salvation Army. After that, it's party time!

I'm often told to keep my mouth shut whenever my bigoted uncles make an unexpected visit.

I can’t draw worth a pair of dingo’s kidney, but that doesn’t stop me from trying every once in a while (really, truly trying, taking my time ad everything).

January is just another month for me. New Year's Eve is just another night for me. New Year's Day is just another day for me.

I really enjoy working with pre-1990s technology and playing pre-1990s games.

I'm glad I broke a family tradition; the tradition being that all men in my family must enlist in the US Armed Forces immediately after graduating from high school. :D
