In light of the recent cancellation of Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball concert in Indonesia, after local fundamentalist religious group Front Pembela Islam vocally protested against it for being "satanic", and the authorities gave in to these protests, I thought I'd post this vid of three teens from Indonesia performing an a capella rendition of Gaga's debut single 'Just Dance'.

Indonesian fans are of course very, very disappointed about the cancellation, and in my personal opinion this is a pretty weak day for the Indonesian government. In South Korea, there were protests too, but these didn't lead to cancellation of Gaga's show.
Refusing to be a generous host to the biggest pop artist of today flies in the face of Indonesia's aspirations of taking a more modern direction in general after the fall of Soeharto's regime in '98.
In the meantime, we also see Indonesian pop artists emulating Gaga's style.
