Apparently the hard drive in my computer may be getting ready to quit 8O If I suddenly vanish for a few days or more, that's probably why.

I had this happen with my last computer, too - that one was a MacBook Pro, this one is a Lenovo Thinkpad. Replaced the hard drive on the Mac, and it was still having issues, so I had to get a new computer. It can never be a minor issue that can be easily fixed for me, can it? At least this time I'm getting some warning before it goes completely kaput, so I can at least save some files to a flash drive. Last time it just wouldn't start up properly one day, and I lost everything, including a story I'd been working on for years (fortunately I had paper copies of at least parts, so I could re-write most of it - now I try to make both electronic and paper copies of anything I don't want to lose).

I'm going to try to actually get up and moving at a somewhat reasonable hour (instead of getting up to feed my dog and then playing games on my iPad and messing around on the Internet for a few hours before going back to sleep until after noon  ) and make some sort of attempt at starting to clean my cave (err, bedroom) tomorrow. And maybe if I say so instead of just thinking about it, I'll actually do it. A good way to start is probably to go to bed at something resembling a reasonable hour...

If all my bruises were to join up, I'd have a great tan.

When Matt Fong had his mom March Eu Fong, do his commercial.

It was like nobody would vote for Matt except his mom

Reminds me of how it appears that nobody acts like I am okay with them, except the current counselor

But the insurance pays 75 bucks an hour for her to interact with me

So maybe the counselor is just passive aggressively repressing her disgust of me , for the purpose of 75 bucks

Makes me feel like there is something wrong with me

Hate thinking in incomplete sentences. Happens sometimes.

I think I'm going to have to stop trying to be 'perfect' or 'saint-like'.

Wonder if it's because I'm tired. Doesn't happen very often.

I can attest to the value of escaping perfectionism. That ol' B&W thinking plays a role, but also watch out for it on the backlash.
