I got off my lazy tail and made two batches of brownies this morning. Been thinking about it and not getting it done.

One batch has chopped walnuts; the other batch has tart cherries and I added a dash of vanilla plus a little extra sugar for the tartness.

They both turned out great (well, yeah, brownies are easy, it's the laziness that's hard ;-) ) so now I have to get my lazy, brownie-stuffed tail out to the grocery store and find two ingredients for the casserole I wanted to make tonight :-).

(Also, I like love winter temps in today's range. It's cold enough to put an end to mosquitoes and such, and it makes coffee and brownies REALLY GOOD, but it's not so cold that I have second thoughts about using the oven because the furnace is running a lot.)

(Edit in: and I ate one of each while they were still warm.... yum.)

My chronic hives is starting to respond to the higher dose of Xolair. Finally life gives me a break for once. Maybe I can my doc to dial it up to the maximum dose and be done with this hellish disease.

Had to go shopping for a couple things; tried to set expectations low (so I wouldn't be disappointed when I didn't find any of them, which has often happened and always astonishes me).

Found everything I was looking for. Nice surprise!

^Because you posted that you were well, and then that you were still had no symptoms and then you stopped mentioning it so I thought maybe you were unwell. Glad I was wrong but sorry about your other bad feelings :(
