I went to a social event yesterday and some of my friends from Toastmasters were there. They said I did well in my contest speeches. Even though I didn't win anything, it was worth it to hear good things from my friends.

Bamboozled mostly. Wasn't exactly expecting to get this one & kind of hoping for something else I already applied for which might still land on me. Morning conference calls are the only real downside provided everybody likes whatever I do with their code.

Just wondering if the career stuff will magically help my ludicrously slow social life like everyone says.
