TOO HOT, FOR WORDS----YUCK!!

Although, I must admit, it's not nearly as bad as it was, a few days, ago----I was thinking "GEEZ, if it's THIS bad, NOW, what's it gonna be like, in AUGUST?" (that's when we USUALLY have this awful weather).

Overcast, 79F

We weren't affected all that much by Bill yesterday (despite being on the "dirty" side of the storm), landfall was over 100 miles away. We just got a few of the outer rain bands, each downpour lasted 5 minutes tops.

Cool and moist, forecast to become warm and moist later.

Surprisingly cold for this time of the year, should I say +10 °C. Bright blue sky, no wind. The sun will be setting closer to midnight, around 11:30 pm. Nightingales were still singing when I last went to my balcony; they probably stopped by now.

Reaching near or into triple digits for the past few days, the seabreezes form each day but can't move far enough inland to reach here let alone collide because it's so dry.
It's more like what you would expect in central Texas but with humidity.

Drizzling, it's so dry that the anvil cloud shower from storms east of here mostly evaporate and form virga.

Dry for the past week
I think Wunderground needs to fix their weather stations, on the 18th this station thought it was in Death Valley.
Image
You can see it reached 108F implying that the calculated heat index reached around 134F somepoint on that day, this would almost meet the record high temperature for Florida at 109.
But other weather websites like News 13, NWS, Accuweather, and Weather only recorded at most 101F (which is still a little above normal for here) indicating this is an incorrect reading probably resulting from being in the sun.
While the the temperature is way off compared to other websites it is interesting to see an illustration of what it has felt like over the past couple weeks.

Sunny and warm, although there's a heat wave due by Friday.
