Sweet car. 8) Is it a 1967 ? I think they were the one's that had that headlight style. :chin: Tell her I'll kick her ass if I see her take it out in rain or snow.

Edit: ^That was for the orange Camaro, and I was ass-backwards.

Tha Catalina is cool too, but I think it's more of an older persons car, or maybe I'm still more rebellious than some. :chin: :rambo:

Ok, I'll add one more, then I'm off for a bit.

How much would something like that car cost you
if you were to go out tomorrow and get one?
Here they cost alot! And they`re very popular,
around here i live there several people who are
really into old american musclecars and things.
Theres several Am-Car clubs and stuff like that.

And, on the 17. of may, which is a national
holiday we celebrate by walking in parades
with really weird looking way too hot clothes
while waiving flags, eating and shouting :)
all true! and alcohol, lots and lots of alcohol :)

Anyway, that day the cars come out, the air
around here gets filled with the deep, raw
sound of american engines, its really something
to see, lots of different old cars, spotless and
shiny - maybe i take a trip out this year and
take some pics to post - its not long until may
is here

^Well, the perfect 100% original, low mileage cars are expensive. That GT500 would cost around $150K+, and the Super-Bee(426 Hemi) would be between $50K and $75K depending rarity of options, but they are both extreme examples. That Camaro would cost around $40K, and the Catalina would only be around $20K. Only the really rare cars are $45K and up, with a Hemi-Daytona or Hemi-Superbird costing $400K or more. You can have almost any common muscle-car(Camaro, Chevelle, Charger, GTO, Mustang, etc...) in really nice shape for around $30-40K, if you don't have to have the absolute best in the world. Add another $20K for a nice Corvette Stingray(63'-67').

Is that fairly equal to what they cost over there? I imagine they are more expensive, after you told me what it cost for a new Ford F-150(like $80K if I remember correctly), where you could buy the same truck here for around $40K. 8)

EDIT: On a local trade site, there is a 1969 Super Bee like that black one on the prior page, only it is a beautiful hemi orange. It has 440 Magnum and a 4-speed manual, has been restored to beautiful condition, and is listed for $20K or best offer. That is an awesome deal for a beautiful car. There just aren't any high paying jobs in the area, so everything is cheaper than usual around here. That is both good and bad. :chin:

Those prices that I listed at the top, are typical of what you would find across the country. :)

Omg! nice price :D
good looking Challenger 8)
They`re a bit more expensive
here, and people spend buckets
of cash to fix up their old american
cars so it looks as nice as possible

Saw a new big F-150 passing by here
earlier - fire red, chrome everywhere,
lights everywhere, some pimping here
and there, looks and sounds really nice :)

I like those kind of cars, made for cruizing around 8)

I prefer the factory original look, over the ones that are heavily modified. How about you? I'm guessing you like the original look too, based on your pics. Some of the modifieds look really good, but there's something about an original that just can't be beat. They are more valuable too. 8)

OK, I'm off to bed. :tired: Have a good day. :)

Just saying and I'm cool now but very lousy joke, Jawbrodt. J/k, maybe but the implication. N/k, I took that as an insult.... To each his/ her own, being on whatever but like stated before, I'm not. Not even pharmaceutical stuff. Me being silly here sometimes is a genuine part of myself and says something about me feeling at home here.

No worries thou, no heart feelings, JB, but I had to say this.

Carry on.

^Hey I'm sorry about that Erminea, it was just my failed attempt at sarcasm. I knew you weren't really drinking. The only reason I said it was because you had already explained that you were just acting silly whever you use it. Sometimes I forget that everybody isn't as carefree as me. My apologies, no harm meant. :)

For the price, I think I would rather have 16 of the bottom one. :chin:

For sure. I tend to like older styleful cars but the 2005 version is way better looking, imo.

All's cool and don't worry my Pennsylvanian friend. Stay carefree. But I just thought if that would continue, and some surely haven't read the other post of course, I would be the booze boy around here. I like a glass of wine sure but I'm simply not a boozer boozer and would dislike people thinking that here. But enough about it. Bring on the random silliness again. Other things.

Stay 8)
