The older I get, the more disinterested in things I became.

I have a really hard time not laughing when students call a certain teacher a Karen behind her back. If the shoe fits…

I used to know a lot of girls by the name of Karen; I had a crush on a girl of that name in the 6th grade. I believe the "Karen Phenomenon" ruined that name. I happen to like that name.

I've never heard of the Karen phenomenon

A woman who always asks to "speak to a manager" in order to get her way is called a "Karen" these days.

The woman who called the police on a black guy, just because the black guy wanted her to leash her dog, was called a "Karen."

It’s not very nice and is sexist, but when some of my kids called a mean teacher a “Karen,” it was a struggle to show the right amount of disapproval. I managed (barely).

That's funny

We have the same thing in Poland - only that we call a Karen a Grażyna instead - Grażyna used to be a very common name in the generation of my mom who is 68 now. A Grażyna's hubby is a Janusz - again a very common name back then. Both of those became strikingly obsolete in my generation, though. Actually, the only Grażyna I heard of, who wouldn't be a lady from that generation, was some little girl of this name, who got raped and murdered by a paedophile a couple of years ago (quite a famous case then) but this name was already very uncommon even in my own generation, let alone in the one of a girl who would have been a teenager now, if she was still alive.

My mom’s name is Karen. She is not even remotely “a Karen,” but she’s good-natured about it and has been known to occasionally joke about it and even use the term to refer to others who are displaying that sort of behavior.

I know how to socialize, network, setup an entire cliche whether it's 10 mins long or something long term...
Host and make waves in parties, even.

Yet I don't do business negotiations, I don't do sales-speech, I do not 'sell' or make 'deals'.

Yeah, that's just how I dislike business so much.
While I'm indifferent at socializing? I hate business.
