Would you like to have a staring contest with Medusa?

I'd win. I may get petrified in the process, but I'd keep my eyes open at her until the end of time.

That's a first. You're so lonely, you quoted yourself.

Does Medusa's gaze work when her index of refraction is extremely close to 1?

If so, is it possible to place invisible Medusae between a mirror behind her and a semi-silvered mirror in front of her inside a reflective container to make the GRAROWR (Gorgon Rays Amplified by Reflection Off Walls Reflective)?

Theoretically, Medusa should not even be able to see when invisible, but it is true that nothing petrifies as well (and who cares about vision as long as the petrification beam can be aimed?).

Theoretically, if Medusa is still popping up here and there, transforming people, she is also a few thousand years old, and known to be cranky.
I'd think twice before trying to place her in front of a mirror, before trying to place her anywhere, actually.
Perhaps it would be safer to try to pull Narcissus away from his pond, if you are determined to antagonize a demigod.
