I was happy to have a long deep talk with my wife, humbled by her knowledge of other people, and (in a good way) properly embarrassed about my naivety regarding said people issues. Compared to her, I'm like an 11 year old socially.

I stood up for myself in real life yesterday. I stood up to the old grump who's actually Dutch for my right to wear my self-made German helmet. I feel like my German-minded Wartime-spirited self again. In other words, I'm happy and proud of who I am again.
