Rhisiart_Steffan, I find geese it be a little intimidating too. Especially since I heard they can break a adult man's arm with a single blow form their wing. :?

random truth.
geese travel in mated pairs, which is why you rarely see an odd number of geese in a flock (unless there is young geese or a goose has died.) Geese also mourn for there lost mates and i have seen geese hang around the body of his/her dead mate honking in a very sad way... i just thought this was interesting. sorry to babble

Yeah, you don't want them to bite you. If you get them on you I would go ahead and wash immediately...

Those are what we in the south call "chiggers", aka harvest mites. Their bites stay for a while and the itch like crazy!
