There are about 250,000 people out of power here in Greater Toronto Area (Canada) because of an ice storm. It's -2ish degrees Celsius outside, but because it's been raining on Friday and Saturday, the water turned to ice and all sidewalks are icey. Trees are covered with ice; they drop on cars and houses because of the ice weight. Power lines are also covered with ice; they then collapse and cut off electricity. People can't drive their cars because they're frozen to the ground. These are just some problems that are happening here... it's pretty much chaos right now as people have been out of power since yesterday morning. I'm lucky that I actually have power at home - if anyone wants to stay in a warm place with food, you're welcome to come and hang around.
