I'm grateful for making great friends that were never a bad influence on me and even if they were bad people to hang out with, they never made me do something I don't want to do.

Or they were relaxed about it; two of my friends were smoking a joint once then offered it to me, I said no and they just continued smoking lol
Of course they were relaxed about it :^)

try to go blind "without cheating" for one day in the year and see how tough it feels, and u will live grateful for the rest of the year because you can see

i see, but we humans appreciate the value of something only when we lose it or risk to lose it. sometimes when i feel very depressed, i like to remind myself to realize that things always can b worse

the key thing to maintaining one's perspective, is gratitude. one can always find SOMETHING to be grateful for. dwell on such.
