Are the beers served there really at room temperature?

They're served at cellar temperature, not room temperature, that's a bit of a myth.
If proper beer is too cold it won't have the best flavour.
If it's not proper beer it probably has no flavour anyway, so chill to your heart's content.

Alternatively the support aspect can be abandoned (there's already far too many pro-alcohol posts to remove) and I'll rename it to something like "The WP Drinker's Club" and move it to Random Discussion.

Your choice - but it can't continue with the "support" title and the type of content it's receiving.

I had rather thought it should have been renamed the Alcoholics' Enablers Thread but I suppose that will do.

This might put me off drinking forever. I was looking for something "different", I guess I'm somewhat influenced by my son's dim view of IPAs. I found this. Didn't know how much it would cost but paid the price at checkout. It seems "sour beers" are unusually expensive due to challenges in the brewing process. I thought I'd had sour beer before but nothing prepared me for this.

I frankly thought this tasted like vomit. Not remotely like anything I'd call "beer" or "ale". I bought 4 pints but only drank one. I don't know what to do with the other three. I want to e-mail the brewery to find out if I possibly got a bad batch. Actually, there's one possible clue. On the label it says "drink fresh" however I don't see this listed on the brewery's site, so possibly they don't make it any more and so I got it stale.

It's possible it was bad, but, sour beers are.. sour. There are many different fruit flavoured sours that are pretty good if you're in the mood for the sharp sour taste. Some sours are decent, others I'd never try again. It's definitely not my go to type of beer, but I'll have one here and there. Rather have a sweeter fruity beer than a sour fruity beer.

It probably tasted like what it was supposed to and you just didn't like it at all is my guess.

Today I drank a lemon mint Tempo Gin Smash. (gin & soda in a can) Not bad. Might have another drink or two this eve.

Yes, it had wandered quite a bit off topic for a support thread.. Am going to try and have a day off it today as I've drunk 9 cans each of the last two days. Not good.

So far I've had breakfast for once and took my meds.

Made it to 10am without a drink. Bad abdominal tension again today though.

Just been out to get some ecig juice from B&M. Felt terrible.

Yea, ADHD is a pain in the arse. Tried Ritalin but it didn't help much so I'm stuck with it.

Got 36 cans of Magners left in the cupboard but there's no point me pouring them down the sink as I've got a shop 2 minutes walk away so I can easily get more if I want to go back on the booze.

Do you find it easier to resist drinking it if you know its there?

But if its not there then you crave it more?

I don't think it makes much difference tbh. It's so easy to get it from the local shop.
