What kind of unusual things happened at the party?

I didn't know the first thing about hosting a party so I played a whole bunch of songs. I wasn't aware that members were staying out of the thread because of the videos.

You didn't do anything wrong CR.
There wasn't anyone around for you to talk to most of the time, except for Bee and Ocean.
I like the music, myself.

Talking is good too if that's what people want.
If people want conversation, I hope they'll speak up and start more.
That's what we're here for.

My Christmas has been so bad I’ve been trying not to think about it. That’s not a complaint, though. Christmas is not a big deal to me. I just wish I could’ve done more for my son.

Hugs, TP - I know it's been a rough season for you.

I'm glad you've stopped in a couple of times just to say hi, anyway.
Feel free to talk about it, or about your son, if you feel up to it.

I don't think people realise how much pressure there is on parents this time of year.
We want so badly to show our kids how much they're loved.

Huggs (((Twilight Princess))) .....! can easily understand what you have described, i feel . Certain Experiences that have made a home in our heads.( that actually can make up a part of whom a person , might be) Can ""dampen"" :( otherwise traditionally , supposably joyful days ..that a person might have been raised to appreciate.
Hope you can hang in there throughout this holiday season . :D .

Parties and other massive social gatherings seem pointless and overwhelming and awkward, but that is just for me.

Virtual parties kind of sound not real enough either. And not as good as real parties.

And my computer skills are so bad that I might not be able to figure out how to attend a zoom conference

Been working at home Depot since October 2020. Four holiday parties, did not attend. This year, a human resources employee asked me if I was going to the party and I answered "no car". She asked where I was coming from and I answered. It is correct that my worthless corpse ain't got no car, and the public transportation to and from the party, at that time, inconvenient. But no matter how convenient the party was, I still would not have gone

When my old man was alive, I went to their holiday parties. But the whole family was going and the food was delicious and expensive.

A disproportionate number of the Home Depot employees, to me , appear to act like wild animals. Even when they are at work and (supposedly) sober. Thus, as a result, I could not get imagine, and don't want to know, how those lil dipshits acted at the party

One Reddit post said that the venue kicked out home Depot, one time
