I came very close to using an avatar of a poster from the 1936 Berlin Olympics but than I had second thoughts.

The Kinks bring back memories of the 80s when I heard a lot of their old songs on the radio.

^Me too. I went on a school trip to Windsor Castle in the 80s and I took a walkman to listen to on the coach. I didn't have any of my own music so I'd copied one of my parents records onto a cassette. It was the Best of The Kinks. To this day Kinks music reminds me of that trip.

I like the scary stories by Stefan Grabiński - he's our "Polish Poe" or "Polish Lovecraft" - he lived in the same time period as the latter one. You can try to look for those on the net because I know some of those got translated into English. I like especially his train stories.

Other facts about me: 1. Though I'm a thin person, I recently lose two kilos. 2. As a child, I was afraid of all sorts of poisons, like poisonous plants. 3. I'm a massive fan of "Outlander". 4. As a young teen, I created a fictional alter ego for myself in my mind. 5. I don't wear make up due to a bad case od sensory integration issues - I just hate it when something touches my face.

I'm starting to like The Beatles more than The Kinks for obvious reasons. Did The Kinks ever sing in German?
