You've got something the young ones don't have. You have your own special song. Listen it it and cheer up, mine kline Schlager.

I started watching "Star Trek:TNG" on Netflix, I haven't watched it since I was 14. I underwent two such "Star Trek" phases besides this one in my life - the first time was when I was 13-14 and later as a young adult of 23 - it was when I arrived in WP, my very first avatar on WP anyway, was one with Data, I remember :D

I said no to a pastry at coffee bar at my clubhouse today. I'm proud of myself.

My first favourite rock song was Come Dancing by The Kinks. I was 8 at the time.

It took me over ten years and about 1000 hours to choose a paint colour.

I've just found out that my accent is more German than I thought. No wonder that old man at an old folks home where I used to volunteer kept harassing me by saying, "You don't get your accent from Britain or Canada, so where do you get it from?"

"I get it from Germany. Why are you running away from me?"

I don't know how to feel.

I used one of those free voice recorders and watched videos on British and Non-British European accents. I'll choose to be proud after a week of self-pity. Curiosity killed the cat.

In Poland we have a similar saying that goes like that: "a curious dog fell into a well."

Sometimes one adds at the end of the saying its ending: "he sat in there for three days and found out nothing". :D

But typically you say just the first part of this saying :D

Our cat once fell into the well of ours and got drowned - we had to take water from the well of our neighbors for the next couple od days. It was when I lived in a village near our town with my mom and my grandparents as a young child.

Btw, the word "dog" in Polish is "pies" in our language (only pronounced diferently than the English pies) :D

Suddenly, I like that weird vegetable coconut sweet flavored spicy dish.

Fricking weird.
Just fricking weird.

The flavor combo is outright weird.
The ingredients are outright weird.

But so damn reason I like it.
